Hi there Olfactoria’s Travelers,
Portia from Australian Perfume Junkies and Perfume Posse here.
I know many of you have only ever seen our Sydney Opera House on Postcards or the TV. It’s one of my favourite places to go hang, not only do they have Opera, Ballet and Theatre but it has some great eateries and bars and the view is ridiculous. The Harbour Bridge and Sydney CBD are all within walking distance. Also Circular Quay, the Botanic Gardens, Museum of Contemporary Art, NSW Art Gallery and so much more.
On this day I was waiting to go to lunch with some mates in the Sydney Opera House Green Room and I was 10 minutes early so I thought you might like to see how beautiful Sydney looks from the Sydney opera House in high Summer.
What fragrance was I wearing? Rosa sur Reuse by SOIVOHLE.
Enjoy,
Portia xx
Thank you, Portia, for reminding me how amazing Sydney is. My trip to Australia few years ago was the nicest holiday I’ve ever had! I was lucky enough to spend few days in Sydney and it was kove for the first sight. Sydney won the geographical lottery – and the people are lovely too 😄
Hi there Lady Jane Grey,
We are so lucky here. I try never to forget it.
If you next come to Sydney please make sure we know and can hang out with you.

You bet, Portia 🙂 (I’ll come back, that’s absoltely sure !)
Loved virtually hanging out with you at the Opera House, Portia. I had no idea there was so much great stuff going on in that area. I hope to visit one day.
TARA!!! Please come. We always have a spare bed or at the very worst a couch and we would be THRILLED to host you. Not much in the way of niche that you can’t get here but PLENTY of independent perfumers.

Hi Portia, thank you for the lovely tour!
Even though I’ve never been to Sydney (nor Australia), it somehow looks quite familiar. I am still hoping that technology will soon make it possible to beam or teleport oneself to distant places….
(Btw, I have a friend who spent 10 years in Australia and she gives a big party on May 23th to celebrate Australia’s participation in the Eurovision Song contest in Vienna!).
Hi there Anka,
There is technology to transport us to distant places, PLANES! Come see us, we’d love to see you here.
Go to the party and barrack for us Aussies please.
