Spring In Snapshots – In Search For Everyday Beauty

I wanted to share just a few images of the last week… (please excuse the kid photos, I would totally post cat pictures if I had one! 😉 )

  1. Lovely pictures! Thanks for sharing those with us, even the personal ones.

You can also tell from the pictures, that you saying how much you’ve enjoyed Jour d’Hermès was not an exaggeration at all. ^_^

  2. Ellia says:

Beautiful pictures, Birgit! And so lovely boys 🙂 Thank you for sharing.
Couple of hours before I was considering to wear or not to wear Rose Ikebana today. Watching the photo with the bottles really pushed me to the final decision – soooooo elegant and attractive bottle of Rose Ikebana.. I just applied some on – lovely fragrance 🙂 Thank you for helping me to make my choice of the scent of the day!

  3. Ines says:

I definitely don’t mind that you post pictures of your boys instead of cats. They are much cuter in my opinion. 🙂
I will be having a busy weekend, it’s the Catholic children ceremonies season so we have two of those this weekend (it hasn’t even started yet and I already have a headache – I think it’s the approaching stormy weather).
Oh well, at least I’m enjoying my perfume today – Si Lolita after a long time. I forgot how much I liked it. 🙂

  4. Nana says:

Lovely pictures B, thanks for sharing. Your boys are gorgeous…and Rose Ikebana is on my wishlist…have a great week-end!

  5. Jordan River says:

These look more like Everyday Happy!

  6. Tara says:

Gorgeous pics! I especially love Niki’s “photo face”.

I am niece-sitting tomorrow. Mia has a treehouse (which she insists I squeeze into) but she would be very impressed that your boys have one with a slide, plus a trampoline.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend.

  7. brie says:

The VERY BEST photps are the ones of the boys :D!!! Thank you for sharing, B!

  8. poodle says:

That wisteria is amazing! Great pictures.
    Have a great weekend!

  9. Tora says:

Your boys are Adorable! I love your lap pool. Is that climbing vine below the Wisteria, Clematis? Neither of those will grow here in Florida. I love Wisteria! Thank you for the peek into your world.

    • Olfactoria says:

Yes, it is clematis. Although that is my parents-in-laws garden (the one with the pool), which means we can enjoy it but don’t have to do the chores. 😉

  10. Suzanne says:

Fabulous pictures, Birgit! So wonderfully personal, it makes me feel like I’m there with you. Are some of these from your cottage place in the country?

For the weekend I’m attending the college graduation of my oldest niece … I can’t believe one of “my” little girls is graduating already. (Yeah, I’m so proud, you’d think I was her mom.) 😀

    • Olfactoria says:

Congratulations on your niece’s graduation! Time flies, huh?

The tree house is in the cottage garden, the pool in my parent’s garden. We are lucky!

  11. ringthing says:

Lovely pics and your boys are so sweet. I’ll bet the magical tree house is a very popular place! Your wisteria is gorgeous. I am spending tomorrow shopping with my elderly parents. They are a hoot and I enjoy every minute I can spend with them. Have a great weekend!

  12. Annina says:

Lovely shots! Your boys are so beautiful, Birgit! I never tire of taking pics of my son and daughter.

And looove the hydrangeas – I had the blue ones for my wedding bouquet and decorations. We even has some on our cake.

Looks like spring is in full swing in Vienna. We’re just getting tarted here. The trees have tiny leaves and buds, and the tulips, daffodils, and snowdrops are just finishing. I can’t wait for the lilacs to explode! Three weeks if super fragrant joy, they’re everywhere here.

  13. Dear Brigit
Kids are infinitely preferable to cats in photographs and so many other ways.
At least to my way of thinking.
    Thank you for sharing.
    Yours ever
    The Perfumed Dandy

  14. I live near one of the most famous ‘hydrangea temples’ in Japan. In June the whole area is completely stunning; people lining up for them in the misty rain, when they look so beautiful, especially at dusk….if you love these flowers you would be in heaven.

This piece has real atmosphere to it.

  15. Lila says:

Your boys are off-the-chart adorbs!! Thank you for posting such lovely photos. I’m wearing Diorissimo today. I think it makes for the perfect Mother’s Day scent.

  16. masha7 says:

Wonderful photos, wonderful kids! I’m wearing the smell of garden dirt today because that’s what I’ve been doing today, transplanting. Later I will smell like bread dough, as it’s baking day. Bois Farine and Demeter Dirt anyone?? 😉

  17. Beautiful pictures, all, dear Birgit.. Very glad you shared. After a busy week, I am hoping for a peaceful Saturday, then Mother’s Day with my family tomorrow. Hope your weekend is wonderful.

  18. There are daisies in the salad! I love it!!!

  19. Viktoria says:

Your boys are very cool and so cute!!! 🙂 lovely photos, Birgit!

  20. Vanessa says:

Great pictures – Pauli looks so pensive and wise, even at his young age. Love the hydrangeas too and the sculptures. Austria does a good line in stone carvings, it must be said.
