In Search Of Hidden Beauty – International Edition II

I received so many lovely photos from all over the world, thank you so much for sending them. Here are a few more from upstate New York, from Sweden and from the Philippines. Enjoy!

“My love of reading began over forty years ago when my father brought home “Hooked on Phonics” and taught me to read at the age of three. As an only child books were my constant companion. One of my favorite libraries is one I frequent on my way home from work for weekly pick ups of books for myself and my children. The library sits on top of a very large hill with spectacular views. In the summer we visit it often, with Brittany, Colin, Courtney and I sitting outside in the large gazebo escaping into our own secret worlds courtesy of our favorite authors.” By Brie, New York, USA

IMG_2859Asa is from Sweden, but currently lives in Cologne, Germany. When looking for beauty she says she invariably looks towards home. Seeing those pictures, it is no wonder why she misses these incredible landscapes sometimes.

I agree with Ines, looking at these pics is a really nice way to start the day and reminds me how wonderfully global our community is.

They are all great, but the misty lake with the tall pines by Asa and the one with bird from Patricia are particularly stunning. Brie’s reminiscence was lovely too. Thank-you everyone!

  10. Thank you for the lovely photos. I don’t know yet how to send pictures via the computer. It’s a skill that most people already have, so I’ll try to learn so I can send you some pictures from South Carolina. You have enriched my life with your wonderful blog and I send thanks and gratitude.
