The first week of July flew past. We all have been ill these past weeks, hopefully that bug has been dealt with now. We are barbecuing today with the Grandparents and my husband’s sister’s family. Good food and exited kids will be abundant.
And I will finally get my swim in the pool!

It was Mandy Aftel week, obviously, because I fell in love with Tango, which has eclipsed everything on my wishlist. I need that perfume. It is out of this world beautiful. Move over, Xerjoff. 😉
On a lighter note: Persolaise reviews Odin 02 Owari and finds it impressive – KA-POW!
Ines on All I Am – A Redhead reviews two Mona di Orio perfumes and urges tuberose haters (including yours truly) to give Tubereuse a chance. No need to egg me on to try Ambre though. 😉

Thanks for the mention! I am glad you have better weather this weekend for your barbecue and swim. It is grey and overcast here, so I might take some fresh fruit cupcakes round to Mrs Bonkers Senior before I guzzle them all at this end. I have already despatched the blueberry one and the others won’t be far behind it if they – and I – are left unattended…: – )
I would take those cupcakes off your hands, just to help you out of course… Weather was hot and the barbecue was nice. I am dog-tired, but content. 🙂

Fantastic. I think there’s something great about wearing more intense smelling perfumes in hotter weather, orientals, ambers etc. They radiate a lot. I had a great Sunday, a sensitive one mind you, last night was very enjoyable, so I’m suffering a little today lol

And btw, you are going to be surprised by Shiso, it is not what you are expecting.

I am throwing myself into fitness this weekend (not that I planned to, things just sort of happened that way). Went swimming and running yesterday; this morning my niece came over and we did pilates together; now I’m off for a hike with my husband. Tonight I think I’ll just conk out and watch a movie. 😉
