I want just four words from you today, but I bet you’ll need some time to come up with them. (At least I did!)
Which four words sum you up best?
My Answer:
The hardest part for me when answering this question was to keep it positive. I can come up with for negative descriptors of myself in no time (and not only four either) but to find word to highlight my good sides took considerably longer. Which might as well be the point of the exercise… 🙂
So here we go:
Introverted, warm, well-organised and witty.
What are your four words?
Well, “modest” wasn’t even in consideration. I mean, not a single negative characteristic came to mind when I tried to think about an answer (without reading your answer first). At least I don’t consider any of those that I thought of as negative – though others might feel differently.
My four: direct, fair, logical and consistent .
That is exactly how I see you, dear Undina from “knowing” you virtually for some years now.
Open-minded old fashioned fool … (hyphen allowed, or is it 5 words already?)
I love that description even though I know that you are definitely not fooled by anyone! 🙂
Oh, I wish – but thank your, dear B !
Hmm, continuing on Undina’s comment, modesty shouldn’t be considered for answering your question. 😉
I’ll go with intelligent, honest, fair and open-minded.
Yes, out with modesty! 😉
Thanks for sharing your description, that is how I see you too.
Excellent choices for you, dear Ines. 🙂
Very difficult to say these things about myself. Introverted, compassionate, open-minded, intelligent.
It is hard, isn’t it?
Much more so than I thought (I’m always shooting myself in the knee with my own questions. 😉 )
In my market research work we often used to ask companies to describe their suppliers in three words or phrases, but here goes for me and four:
Maverick, funny, empathetic, worrier
Love the maverick!
Tired, tired, tired and tired. That’s about it. (Sole parent, full time job. 😦 )
Thank goodness for perfume!
Aw, poor Annemarie! I’m sorry to hear that, hope you get some sleep and some respite soon.
Compassionate, anxious, creative, lazy
I was very close to put in lazy too. 🙂
Thanks for playing, Sabine!
Eek! This makes me think of job interviews when you’re asked to talk about yourself (in glowing terms) along with only one negative attribute. I would say anxious creative dreamer outgoing.
No job interview here! And no stress, please! 🙂
I love your four words, thanks for sharing, megan!
I notice that quite a few of us are anxious or worriers. Quite hard to write it down but maybe it’s a symptom of this day and age?
Might well be…
Sensitive, compassionate, loving, and inquisitive.
Sounds like a really loveable combination. 🙂
Although I realize that this makes me sound like a Golden Retriever, here goes: sincere, thoughtful, loyal, up-beat.
Goldens are a favorite for reason!
🙂
Exactly! 🙂
And not to forget helpful!!! 🙂
🙂
Optimistic, imaginative, friendly and loyal.
I really like your descriptors, Birgit. I’d love to call myself witty, though I don’t have the quickness of mind that is conducive to being witty. I do have a quirky sense of humor, though. 🙂
I loke yours too, Suz. Optimism is such a great gift which I totally lack.
You’re right, B., this is not easy: introverted, sensitive, passionate (about music & fragrance), bookish.
We would be great friends, Anita.
Those are great words for you, dear B. Mine: quiet, sensitive, curious, bookish.
That is just how I would describe you, Jim.
Thanks, my friend. 🙂 When I picked bookish I was trying to pick something no one else had said. Then I saw Anita use that word above me. Heh.
Energetic, religious, generous, optimistic
It will be fun to read everyone’s responses! It took me seconds to generate my list. I wish “courageous and confident” were on it, but that’s not how I’m feeling lately. Great question – thank you!
Great that it was so easy for you to answer. Thank you for sharing!
Lol!Tough question actually!BUT OK,here goes:Adventurous,Witty,Creative,Compassionate.
That makes a great combination, Johano.
Lol,the first two lands me in trouble sometimes, the last to saves me from said troubles!!I might add well-balanced then, yes?Hehe!
Illogical, Kind, Artistic, Funny – I cannot in all honesty leave out the first description – and I hope others see the other words as true for me. Like Spe, it took me only seconds. So interesting to read the other responses – a clever and witty idea, Birgit!
I love reading the answers too.
Illogical is an interesting trait to have and so understandable to me! 🙂
Vivacious (hahahahaha – read loud) , panicprone, trustworthy, spiritual.
Spiritual is interesting to hear, I didn’t know that side of you, Val. I know the first one well though! 😉
Spirituality is softer. Portia knows my religious side. I believe it is important to feed our souls as well as our bodies and addictions. 🙂
Yes, I wholeheartedly agree Val. Giving thanks to whatever is a mild form of spirituality but usually I thank God or goodness. Are they the same thing?
Portia xx
Creative, Empathy, Sense of humor (does that count?) , Curious.
Of course it counts! What an important thing to have!
Straightforward, organiser, reader, smiler (and gently perfumed, of course!)
Yes, harder than I thought Birgit. Great idea. And thanks for your Monday book questions from a while ago, I’m working my way through the ones that appealed to me.
Hi Greennote,
lovely to hear from you!
Glad you enjoyed this and have fun with the book recommendations.
I often go back to those too.
Compassionate, irreverent, loyal, accountable.
Four beautiful words to describe yourself, Pam. I wish I had more of all four traits. Thanks for sharing.
Gregarious, Honest, Playful, Driven
All four of these traits are very evident in you. I would add open, loyal, dependable and totally awesome to your lineup. xx
Birgit, I love you.
