Have a wonderful time, all my dear readers and friends!
I hope you all get the chance to spend time with the people you love, eat plenty of good food and find peace and rest and relaxation in the coming days.
There will be some scheduled posts here on OT. Don’t miss a very interesting installment of People in Perfumeland on Wednesday and my Best Of 2013 list on the 27th.
Then I will take some time off to see whether my perfume writing muse will come back to me in the new year. I sure hope so…
I leave you with some awesome pictures that Sandra took here in our fair city of Vienna.
Beautiful pictures! Vienna is a great city and I hope to visit it at Christmas one day (or two).
Give your muse some rest and chocolate. Happy holidays, dear Birgit!
Happy holidays, dear Undina (and vSO)!
I would love to have a Punsch with you on the Christmas market!!! 🙂
When you are ready, just tell us what you are wearing. Don’t aim for poetry. Just something simple. I’m wearing L’Ambre des Merveilles today, as we have had a welcome cool change, and thinking of you.
Gorgeous pictures. I have never seen snow like that, ever.
I’m not aiming for poetry, just for a little drive to write anything. 🙂
Lovely perfume choice!
Happy Holidays dear Annemarie!
Beautiful photos of Vienna. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a joyous New Year.
The same to you, Tatiana! ❤
Did I miss your Christmas Eve and Christmas Day scent selection?
Hope your Christmas day makes beautiful memories for the boys and the man and for you too.
I’m wearing 28 La Pausa, but only for the enjoyment of those around me, as I have sinusitis right now and smell nothing at all. 😦
Happy Holidays, Jordan!
Merry Christmas to you and your family, Birgit!
Wonderful pictures! Here in Poland there’s zero snow at the moment and I wish we had some, just a little bit.
Love the city lights. In my hometown there are some at the central market square, but they’re not as spectacular as in Vienna
Merry Christmas to you, Lukas! Have a lovely time!
Vienna looks beautifully snow covered. Merry Xmas and I hope you get your writing mojo back.
Merry Christmas! Enjoy your little well deserved break. Snow was melting here due to unusually high temps but today we are getting freezing rain which I really hate. Snow is bad but at least you can drive in it for the most part. Ice, not so much.
I hope Santa is good to you.
I hope it is not icy where you are. Drive safely!
Happy Holidays, Poodle!
Give your muse time, she’s off helping someone who REALLY needs it. We will wait till you are fully back in the saddle. We love you and wish your whole crew Merry Christmas.
Can’t wait to be in the FREEZING colds of Vienna. Counting the days.
Sandra, beautiful photos. You have a gift.
Not long until I see you! Yippie! Nothing like that to get my spirits up! 😀
Wow…those outdoor Christmas chandeliers are spectacular! Birgit, wishing you and yours a wonderful and happy holiday season! A good break will help your mojo no doubt.
Thank you, Steve!
All the best to you and yours!
Merry Christmas Birgit! Wishing you and your men a gesegnetes Fest. Enjoy the break. xoxo
Fröhliche Weihnachten, dear Sandra!
You Vienna ladies have been the highlight of my year. xxx
Awww, thank you!
You are indeed the cookie queen (says me, 3kg heavier after last Thursday). 😉
Dear Birgit, wonderful pictures of Vienna… A beautiful gift for us. Let me wish you a Merry Christmas with all your beloved and a lot of warmth, peace, and joy. Je t’embrasse
merci beaucoup. Joyeux noël et bonne année!
Wow, I’ve never seen such Christmassy gorgeousness than in Sandra’s pics of Vienna. What spectacular lights too. Ours are so often accompanied by corporate sponsorhip and though still pretty, nothing as majestic as yours. I would love to be in Vienna at this time of year.
Take a well earned break, dear B, and look at things afresh in the New Year.
The lights in the city are gorgeous! The crowds less so. 😉
Have a wonderful and relaxing time, dear T and thanks for everything!
Can’t wait to see you in the spring!
Very nice photos. Fröliche Weinachten.
Thank you, Walter! Frohe Weihnachten to you too!
Birgit and Sandra – here’s wishing you and your families the warmest, happiest and most wondrous of Christmases. Vienna is splendidly beautiful (great photos, Sandra!). ❤
warmest wishes to you too!
You too, Damir!
Have a lovely break with your family and friends!
Soemtimes a sabbatical is needed, so take as much time as feels right. As a relative newcomer to your blog, I would love some updates, eg on your tastes, collection, and how you now feel about perfumes you once praised. Doesn’t have to be poetry, or even new and exciting. Looking forward to your ‘best of 2013’ post in a few days.
Thank you for your encouragement, Alice!
Lovely pictures, dear Birgit!
May you enjoy a peaceful Holiday season!
You too, dear Caro! xo
Beautiful pictures! What a wonderful city to spend Christmas in. Have a wonderful holiday season and a blessed new year!
Thank you, Kandice, best wishes to you!
(from Christmas in Kyoto)
I hope you are having a wonderful time, Neil!
Thank you for sharing them, these are lovely! 🙂
Wishing you a merry Christmas (from a very warm, non-snowy Zagreb!
Merry Christmas from a snowy and cold Sweden (though they’re predicting rain this evening 😦 ).! Celebrating by breaking open my new FB of Ambre Narguile. Looking forward to your Best of 2013, and admiring Sandras pictures!
Merry Christmas to you all! Thank you for a great 2013! Looking forward to a wonderful
2014 together! Sandra, your photography is so beautiful! You have an amazing eye!
And to you, Darilyn!
Beautiful. Merry Christmas and lots of love, Birgit.
The same to you, dear Jim!
Just gorgeous. Thanks for the beauty and cheer, Birgit!
You are very welcome! Merry Christmas!
