Big Sample Giveaway!

Reader Antje was so kind to contact me with a very lovely suggestion:

She wants to give away her extensive sample collection plus two full size bottles (Tokyo Milk Bittersweet and Tainted Love) to one lucky OT reader.

The one condition Antje has is that the winner must collect the samples at her workplace in Central London, as it is illegal in the UK to ship perfume abroad.

So if you are based in London or travel there in the near future you can enter in the draw.

Please do so by leaving a comment on this post about anything you want. Please share this also on the social media site of your choice so many Londoners get the chance to participate. Sharing garners you an additional entry in the draw.

I will post the winner here on the blog in a week’s time. Please note that I am only the conduit here and cannot be responsible for anything going wrong or anyone being unhappy.

I will only pass on the winner’s email address to Antje.

Good luck!

Update 15. Nov.: the Giveaway has ended.

  1. Helllo Antje, what a very generous offer! I would love to receive your samples x

  2. Undina says:

Giving away one’s samples collection is a serious step. I just have to ask: WHY? Has Antje found her Holy Grail perfume?

(It’s not an entry into the draw)

    • Olfactoria says:

Maybe Antje can chime in herself later, but as far as I know she has a new baby who changed her lifestyle a lot and she doesn’t want her samples to go bad, but for someone to enjoy them.

    • Antje says:

Will still have my full bottle collection, couldn’t possibly narrow it down to one Holy Grail:)

Baby + work mean the samples are not getting any love, hence looking for a new home 🙂

      • Undina says:

Thank you for the explanation 🙂 I like what you’re doing – it’s an ultimate respect to perfume (but I’m not sure I could part with my samples – even if I couldn’t test them any longer.)

Once your baby gets older and you get more of your time back and feel again like getting more samples – let me know and I’ll share with you whatever new fragrances I have at that moment.

  3. Sabine says:

It’s indeed a seriously generous offer, and I hope Antje is OK. I would happily share with other fellow Londoners.

  4. Never heard of a perfume called Tainted Love.. bet for that matter neither has Marc Almond. Closest we ever got to the beauty world paying homage to greatest song of all time was Ltd edition in US only of Benefits Tinted Love being renamed Tainted for Cmas edition with some sparkle what must be 15 years or more ago. Think Nars may have called something Tainted couple years ago

  5. Kaia says:

What a generous offer! I would love to be part of the draw.

  6. What a lovely hoard of samples, it’s a treasure trove! Thank you for being so generous, Antje, and thanks Birgit for hosting the draw 🙂 Will share this on Facebook and Twitter.

  7. ringthing says:

I’m not eligible for this offer but I just wanted to thank Antje for her generosity. Perfume people are the best 🙂

  8. Jason says:

I’d be really grateful to win this, I’m very new and would love to learn.

  9. shellyw says:

    Stuck in Ca
    California, darn.

  10. Michael says:

Although not strictly in London (I live about an hour away) I do go up often and would like to be in the draw please. Like a few others here, I’d also be interested to find out why Antje is giving away her samples? I’m a horder and tend to hold onto almost everything!

  11. Ali says:

I’m in the U.K., but not near London, However I’m happy to promote this very generous giveaway.

    Ali x

  12. Vanessa says:

    Hello Antje!

I don’t need any more perfume and will resist taking part in the draw – I must say I admire your ability to part with so many samples at a stroke. Any Le Labo in there by any chance, hehe?

Congrats btw on the new addition to the family.

    • Antje says:

Hi Vanessa, good to hear from you :). Hope you are well!

Still have a (larger than I care to admit) collection of full bottles to fall back on 🙂

      Antje x

  13. andreastrata says:

Hey Antje, this is so nice from you! I had to leave all my samples collection back home, so it would be nice to have one here in London!

    Thanks!

  14. Erin Pearl Keenan says:

Wow, what a generous giveaway! I’d love to enter the draw please. I live in Glasgow but could definitely deputise a London based friend if I get super lucky 😀 Thanks

  15. Yile says:

ohmygod!!! Antje, that is so nice of you seriously!!!! ❤ I would love to enter this draw! 😀 That collection is amaaaaazing!

  16. Odiferess says:

Wow.. That’s a very generous offer indeed. It’s a little like giving away a beloved pet! I’d like to enter and share it with a London based perfume buddy who is very generous too. I think that our community thrives on meeting, sharing and waffling. We are a close knit and loving group of enthusiasts!

  17. Iuliana says:

It would be great if you would consider me for the draw – I work/live in central London and I have recently reached a semi-maniac perfume dicovery stage (I spend weekends and even lunch breaks sniffing perfumes I read about, got my first Lutens, entered a daily perfume rotation, etc).

  18. Jiahong says:

I’ve recently become interested in perfumes and this collection seems like a divine place to further explore. Please give me the chance! 🙂 Pick me!

  19. Nanping says:

I’d like to enter the draw. That extensive collection is indeed impressive!

  20. Berlynette says:

Hello antje! This is very generous of you! This would be a great discovery journey for me!
