My favorite summer indulgence, at least with fragrance, is Comptoir Sud Pacifique’s Vanille Banane. It smells like banana cream pie, and I think it’s wildly fun for a scorching summer day, especially if there’s a party involved. ….am I the only one who wants Kokorico, for the funny bottle???
My favorite summer indulgence is sitting on the deck with a cup of tea or a cocktail and watching the hummingbirds. I would be happy with either fragrance.
Even though I live in Florida, my indulgence in summer is a day at the beach! At this time of year the water is so warm! I can spend hours in and out of the water, then stop for an ice cream cone on the way home! I would choose Love Potion No. 9…thanks!

My summer indulgence is actually more like an obsession. I discovered that BBC America has the UK Masterchef Professional series on, and I am utterly addicted. I love gastronomy far, far, far, FAR more than I do perfume, and the series focuses on professional chefs trying to cook Michelin-level food, often for 2 or 3 Michelin-starred restaurants in the later stages. The 2011 series featured the 2nd best restaurant in the world, in Spain, after Nobu, along with Joel Robuchon’s Atelier. The 2012 series has Hestor Blumenthal’s Fat Duck and others. All under the guidance of Judge Michel Roux, Jr. from the legendary Roux cooking dynasty. I tell you, I’m so obsessed that I’m upset when it’s the weekend and I know the episodes won’t be on. I’ve NEVER looked forward to Mondays more…..

Favourite summer indulgence? That’s almost too hard to answer! But if I have to choose, it’s probably taking a leisurely walk by the sea with my husband, enjoying the play of the clouds over the mountains (and keeping a keen lookout for otters, whom we’ve sometimes discovered playing about on the driftwood).
By the way, when I saw your photo of Love Potion No. 9, I thought it was decorated with a moustache. Bottle as rorschach test, hmm…
P.S. Either fragrance would be lovely but if I win (and am given the choice), I think I’ll go for the “moustache” 😉

My favourite summer indulgence up here in Glasgow is the LIGHT: sitting on my front step drinking a cup of tea at 22:00 is pure heaven. I am drunk on light all summer long. It’s worth the dark winters for the long summer days!

My summer indulgence is always the same. As Adriatic coast has a special place in my heart, I like to spend three weeks on a small secluded beach, with my wife and son. It is important to be just “our” little beach where no one else is coming. Certainly a lot of swimming in clear water! Evenings are reserved for walks along the beautiful road above the coast. Sea and mountain air are slightly mixed there.
I love to crumble dried immortelle we can find on the road. It is scent of my hands during vacation.

It’s already rainy season here in Manila, but my favorite summer indulgence was eating fresh, ripe, golden mangoes. That made me wish for Jo Loves A Shot of Oud Over Mango. My summer indulgence? Lobster rolls with shoestring fries and a cold beer! The roll has to be a split-top hot dog bun, buttered and toasted. The lobster chunks have to be big, fat, and sweet, and all those yummy bits can only be tossed in Hellman’s mayonnaise and chopped chives. Maybe celery salt or Old Bay seasoning. Can you tell I’m picky? 🙂

My favourite summer indulgence is, strangely, walking outdoors in the middle of a tropical thunderstorm! The reason for this is that I get to spend my summers in Southeast Asia, where heavy thunderstorms are common. I’d love to win the LP No.9. Thanks for the draw!
My favorite summer indulgence is luxuriating in my air conditioning after a bout of power yoga. Nothing poetic or fancy, but this is the first time I’ve had air conditioning in San Diego in the last 7 years. It makes me feel so luxurious!
