It must be the planets in misallignment or something…having a not so good day too…Here’s to better days. Poodle, your pictures are gorgeous & I am so jealous of the beautiful Iris and the pinky maroon irises. Mine are just purple. I am wearing an iris fragrance today that I think poodle sent me Le Labo 39…I love it., and it lasts on me…me with the super dry scent eating skin. I may have to invest in a decant of this! Funny thing is, my friends cat loved it too, and jumped all over me and wrapped herself around my neck at lunchtime. I took her off of me, and she literally jumped from the floor to my neck to sniff me. She is a young cat, less than a year old, and I am 5’8″, so that was some jump. She has never done that before, so it much be the perfume. (She scratched me by accident…I think she must be in heat, because she was kinda trying to hump my neck & hair…and I had to go back to work after that! )

I am so sorry about your bad day! I’ve had way too many of those in the last couple years, and my way of self-soothing, focusing on something else is to surf my favorite perfume blogs. I don’t know what I would do if I was a perfume blog. Seriously, sometimes it is worse than having a bad flu! May your guardian angel give you a reprieve.

I think I’m going to go with Lutens Fd’C for the big event. It’s soft, pretty, clean, basically the exact opposite of what will be going on during the procedure. Lol

Uncle Serge is hanging out with me again today. He’s such a trooper (and kitty Clyde is thoroughly enjoying the extra snuggle time with me)! If I recall correctly, Louve isn’t a favorite of yours (?), but for me the cherry/almond has a similar comforting vibe that the milky rice pudding has in L’Eau de Kenzo Amour. Plus the cherry in it just makes me happy.
You are right, Louve had me running in the other direction, but who knows, maybe things have changed (as they have a way of doing), I’ll test it again, you make it sound so lovely.
