Welcoming Spring – From My Bed…

Spring is making a slow appearance here in Austria, the sun is out, the air is getting warmer, green perfumes beckon – and I am promptly down with the flu, again.
My boys and I are sneezing, sniffling and coughing with the best of them.
I hope you are having a better day, dear readers.
I leave you for today with a picture from Vienna’s St. Stephen’s Cathedral, were I will be meeting Ines from All I am – A Redhead this weekend.

Keep warm, drinks of liquids please. Slice of raw ginger in a saucepan, add tea leaves, boil and drink.

That sounds like a lot of work, I’m afraid hot water and a teabag will have to suffice (this is a non-cooking person you are talking to here). Thank you, Jordan! 🙂

So sorry to hear it! Lots of tea, with a spoonful Manuka honey (no pans or teapot needed, just kettle, tea bag, honey and mug). No idea if it does any good, but its comforting at least.

  23. Dear B.,
So sorry to hear that you are ill. Spring is beautiful, but can be a real problem for breathing. Please be careful not to get dehydrated – it’s a easy thing to slip into. Best wishes for a quick recovery. By the way, Zyrtec is really good for spring allergies.
    Best, AnitaATM
