Spring is making a slow appearance here in Austria, the sun is out, the air is getting warmer, green perfumes beckon – and I am promptly down with the flu, again.
My boys and I are sneezing, sniffling and coughing with the best of them.
I hope you are having a better day, dear readers.
I leave you for today with a picture from Vienna’s St. Stephen’s Cathedral, were I will be meeting Ines from All I am – A Redhead this weekend.
Have a great day,
B x
Na da ist es endlich mal wärmer in Wien und dann sind alle krank 😦 – gute Besserung wünsche ich!! lg
Vielen Dank, liebe Suse! 🙂
Hope you and your boys are feeling much better very soon!
Thank you, Tatiana!
Oh no! Get better soon. I wish you lots of sunshine through the windows at least. 🙂
The boys are better, so we will venture out in the sun this afternoon (I should stay in bed, but you know how it is…)
Keep warm, drinks of liquids please. Slice of raw ginger in a saucepan, add tea leaves, boil and drink.
That sounds like a lot of work, I’m afraid hot water and a teabag will have to suffice (this is a non-cooking person you are talking to here). Thank you, Jordan! 🙂
I really hope you get better soon and you’re perfectly healthy by Saturday! 🙂
Me too!!!!!
GET WELL! This is an ORDER!
Portia xx
Sir, yes, Sir!
Oh no !!!
Get well soon, dearest B.
Will try, thanks, LJG!
Gute Besserung from me too and how great that you are meeting Ines! The gods of Perfume Land will ensure you are well in time!
That is very reassuring to hear, higher forces will look out for us. 🙂
For a moment there I became very excited about your headline (>:
Get well soon!
Thank you! 🙂
Feel better soon, vitamine C in powder and water, and sleep as much as you can!
Will try to do that, thanks dear Florence!
Dearest B, sorry to hear you’ve gone down with the flu. Staying in bed is the best thing.
Hope you and your boys feel better soon and you can enjoy your meet-up with Ines on Saturday x
Thank you dear Tara! xo
Oh Birgit, that is awful!! You have had quite a time with illness….next fall I am going to have to send you some Thieves oil to ward off any sickness (it works like magic and smells divine)…I hope you and your little ones feel better soon!
It has been a very bad year so far indeed. Thanks for your kindness, brie!
Rest and fluids. Fluids and rest. Take it easy an hopefully you’ll feel better for the weekend.
Thank you, poodle, so nice of you.
I hope you and your boys feel better soon and hopefully you will be fighting fit for your lovely weekend.:-)
I hope so too, Andrea, it’s getting ridiculous, all those Kindergarten bugs are a menace.
From far away here in Florida, I am sending you and your young ones, warm, sunny, breezy healing, and energizing thoughts. Be well!
Thanks so much, Tora!
Oh no! I hope you get a chance to rest up and that you get well soon!
Much better today, thank you! 🙂
Ack! Not again 😦 So sorry you and your boys are sick – so frustrating when you want to be outside. Enjoy the sun through the window and hope you are feeling better soon. Enjoy your date Saturday.
Thanks, Anita! ❤
Oh no! It’s extra horrible to have the flu yourself AND nursing your little ones back to health.
I hope you start feeling better very soon.
And what a gorgeous photo … again! Thank you for sharing it with us (both of you).
That is true, and the kids are back to normal so much quicker than I am!
So sorry to hear it! Lots of tea, with a spoonful Manuka honey (no pans or teapot needed, just kettle, tea bag, honey and mug). No idea if it does any good, but its comforting at least.
It sounds comforting already, thank you! 🙂
Here’s hoping you feel better soon, Birgit – and that you have a wonderful visit with my favorite redhead. 🙂
I can’t wait to meet Ines! 🙂
I hope you and the boys feel better soon, dear B. Sending love.
Thank you, dear J! xo
Hoping you’re all well soon and looking forward to reading about your meet-up with Ines!
Will definitely report back in detail! 🙂
Dear B.,
So sorry to hear that you are ill. Spring is beautiful, but can be a real problem for breathing. Please be careful not to get dehydrated – it’s a easy thing to slip into. Best wishes for a quick recovery. By the way, Zyrtec is really good for spring allergies.
Best, AnitaATM
I don’t have allergies, just a predilection for every virus that makes the rounds. 🙂
Thank you for your caring words, Anita!
Get well soon – Spring really is on its way! x
It is! 🙂 Thank you, Alex!
Get well soon so you can enjoy the beautiful weather and tell us all about your day with Ines. Tea with whisky, lemon and honey always makes me feel better.
Whisky! Now that is a thought! I’ll try that tonight! 🙂
Get well soon! And have a lovely weekend! 🙂
Thank you, my dear! You too!
I hope you are feeling better soon, dear Birgit! And think about the new Hèrmes Colognes so you – and all of us – need your sense of smell. Maybe this helps 😉
Good point, M, I want to try them on Saturday.
Thank you!
I can truly sympathize, I’ve spent the last week the same way, in bed feverish coughing and sniffling… Today I dragged myself back to work and my colleage promptly said ” You look terrible shouldn’t you Go Home?!”
Hope you all feel better and get some proper spring weather this weekend!
I’m sorry to hear that (lovely colleague by the way 🙂 ), I hope you feel better by now.
Feel better soon dear!
Thank you, Catherine, I do today.
Get better! It’s spring and I wish you to be able to enjoy it. Sending healing thoughts your way.
They helped, thank you, Undina! ❤
Everyone feel better fast! Drink tea!
Thanks, Judith! 🙂
