A Chance To Win – Prada Infusion d’Iris Full Bottle Giveaway

The good people of 99Perfume offered to sponsor a giveaway for a bottle of perfume of my choice from their webstore.

I selected Prada Infusion d’Iris EdP 50ml that comes in a set with the matching body lotion. Daniela Andrier’s Infusion d’Iris is an old favorite of mine, a true standby that always works and shows that there are some fantastic mainstream options out there.

Prada Infusion d'Iris

To win, please leave a comment on this post stating your favorite iris perfume. For an additional entry please like Olfactoria’s Travels Perfume Blog on Facebook.

The giveaway is open for one week, the winner will be selected randomly and will be be announced here on the blog on Tuesday, April 16. To win, you must be living in the continental USA (Sorry, 99Perfume stipulated this rule).

Good luck!

  1. johnoehler says:

I like Iris Bleu Gris because the iris never disappears. But I’d love to try Infusion d’Iris.

  2. Dubaiscents says:

I hope I can still enter if I have a US mailing address… My favorite iris scent is probably either Grossmith’s Shem El Nessem or FM Iris Poudre. If I had to pick one I guess I would go with the Malle since I own a bottle of that while I just have to covet the very pricey SeL. I wish there were more good mainstream iris scents. I do enjoy the prada, especially the newer absolue version. Thanks for the draw!

  3. DNEM but I love your old Iris nobile by Acqua de Palma.
    Portia xx

  4. dkchocoman says:

I like Dior Homme Intense . The iris aka the lipstick or make-up bag note is very prominent in this fragrance and is very nicely done.

  5. Linda Scott says:

Oh my – Infusion d’Iris IS my favorite. It is the perfect scent in which to watch a movie, curling up in a darkened room with its intriguing scent, restless and both alien and comforting, teasing around you. If the movie is great, it doesn’t interfere. If the movie is boring, the scent entertains. It pleases the people in neighboring seats. All in all, wonderful!

  6. My fav is HIris by Hermés, I cant help…

  7. lorraine says:

Parfum d’Empire Equistrius is probably my favourite though I also like Carner Barcelona D600. I don’t live in the US but have a US shipping address if that’s okay…:)

  8. lucasai says:

What a generous offer. At this moment my favourite iris is Prada Amber Pour Homme and it’s on tie with Carner Barcelona D600. But I also fancy many more iris perfume like L’Artisan Parfumeur Iris Pallida, VC&A Bois d’Iris.
I like your facebook profile as well 🙂

  9. poodle says:

I don’t have a favorite scent that I love in which iris is the main note. In all honesty, I havent really explored iris very much. I think the Le Labo Iris is nice and I do like Infusion d’Iris. I love the flowers and I can’t wait for them to be blooming in my garden again.

  10. I don’t think I have a favorite Iris fragrance. Maybe Infusion d’Iris will become it 🙂 Thanks to you and 99Perfume for the lovely draw!

  11. Dear Brigit
I think it might be Hiris too, there is something irresistible about it. Though Infusion is the Prada I like most, and by some way I would say…
Being a citizen of the world, The Dandy has a mailing address in the United States.
    Yours ever

  12. dremybluz says:

I have not explored many iris fragrances, but of those I like this Prada version. Thanks for another generous draw

  13. Terry Maloney says:

I love all iris! My faves are Shem El Nessem, Hiris and Prada Infusion d’Iris!

  14. Annina says:

Oh I love Infusion d’Iris! I just finished a mini. I also enjoy Hiris and Iris Poudre.

  15. Suzy Q says:

My favorite is Infusion d’Iris edp. Really! I’ve been wearing it constantly this spring, from a decant. I love its sweet woodiness. Thank you for the opportunity to win my favorite iris!

  16. arline says:

I don’t know that I have a favorite Iris, as I am not sure what iris smells like.

Well maybe Chanel 19, but I don’t know whether that counts as an iris perfume 🙂

  17. Woodgirl says:

I don’t think I’ve smelled many iris perfumes. I tried Iris Silver Mist, but only noticed a faint grated- carrots note. I’ve tried Iris Noir by Yves Rocher, but am not sure if this is really considered an iris scent. Thanks for the draw.

  18. shellyw says:

I liked L’Artisan Parfumeur Iris Pallida, but do not own a “iris” perfume. I have a guess that many of the florals I have contain some of it though. please enter me, I live in the USA.

  19. Panna says:

I do not own any iris perfumes, would love to try this!

  20. Nancysg says:

Due to your review, I own and love Equistrius. If money was no object, I would own Xerjoff Irisss, but it is an aspirational fragrance for now. I enjoy exploring the world of iris scents with the range of types and the feel can go from warm to cold. Thanks for this draw.

  21. Leslie says:

I adore this one, Infusion d’Iris, but have sadly run out- so this would be perfect for me!!

  22. Lulubelle says:

I’m not sure that I’ve smelled any Iris based perfumes, or if I did, I was not aware of it. Iris is my favorite flower, but they are rare where I live as the climate is a bit too warm for them. They grew profusely where I was born and raised, however, so they imprinted early on me:-)

  23. My vote goes to Dior Homme. Thanks very much for the chance to win Infusion d”Iris, Birgit!

  24. AnneD says:

My fave at the moment is The Different Company Bois d’Iris. I bought it rather impulsively, but have really grown to love its’ understated elegance. I would love to try the Prada. Thanks for the generous draw!

  25. Amy Bella says:

I like infusion d’Iris very much! I would have to say that my favorite Iris is Le Labo Iris 37 (27? 32? I can never remember the number!) Iris Silver Mist really knocks my socks off, but I don’t find myself wanting to wear it. I crave the “experience” of it from time to time, though!

I am looking forward to seeing some irises blooming soon! They are one of my favorite flowers.

  26. empliau says:

Iris Pallida for me – although am I eligible? US citizen, in Berlin for 10 months (returning end of May). I do have a US mailing address, though …

  27. transi.alto@gmail.com says:

My favorite iris is Irish ganache by guerlain. would love to be in the drawing. thanks!

  28. Maureen says:

My favorite Iris that I have is Chanel #19 Poudre…a birthday gift from boyfriend last May 4th and is sadly almost gone. (this year I have asked for a LOV fragrance this year) I have tried Infusion d’Iris at Ulta and liked it very much. I am in the US.

  29. Julie J says:

I don’t own any iris perfumes yet but Prada’s Infusion d’Iris is on my wishlist. I sampled it and the absolute version and love themboth.

  30. Iris is my favorite flower in perfumery. My favorite iris has to be Iris Ganache. Le Labo Iris 39 and Iris Silver Mist are coming up close seconds.

  31. And thank you for the giveaway offer!

  32. Laura says:

Along with this one, I also love Chanel 28 La Pausa. (Thanks for the giveaway, and I do live in the US),

  33. Lara says:

I am a perfume newbie and have not tried many Iris perfumes yet but my friend wears Infusion and loves it so I’d love to try it!

  34. CC ... says:

I haven’t really explored many iris scents but of the very few I have tried, I like Chanel 28 La Pausa very much. Thank you for the generous draw.

  35. happyface313 says:

I don’t have a favorite Iris perfume (yet). Is that a problem? 🙂
Thanks for the great give away! 🙂

  36. sammm says:

Since L’Heure Bleue isn’t really an “iris” scent, I have to go with Infusion d’Iris EdT as my favorite. I have the EdP mini and wear it sometimes but spritzing the toilette sample (think I’m on my 5th sample by now, ha!) is just a teensy bit more satisfying for me than the perfume.

  37. Tomate Farcie says:

I love Le Labo Iris 39. Thanks for the chance!

  38. Dionne says:

I’ve already got a big ol’ 200ml bottle of this, plus I don’t live in the States, but good luck to everyone else! All-time favorite iris is 28 la Pausa, but I also own and love Id’I, Equistrius, ISM, Dior Homme, TDC’s Bd’I, Hiris, Mythique, post-2011 Après l’Ondée (which is mainly iris) and Iris 39.

  39. rosiegreen says:

I don’t have a favorite Iris perfume. I love #19 but I don’t really think of it as iris. Thanks Birgit for hosting the draw and 99 perfumes for providing the prize. I live in the beautiful state of Washington
    in the United States.

  40. FeralJasmine says:

So far the Prada is the only iris that I have much experience with. Just finished up a tiny decant and would love to spray with abandon, so please enter me in the draw!

  41. Claudia Bloemendal says:

What a generous giveaway! I love iris in perfume. My all time favourite is still Hiris by Hermes. As an iris lover I already own several iris perfumes including a FB of Infusion d’Iris, so no need to include me in the draw 🙂

  42. suseliebesuse says:

  43. Cherie Montorio says:

    My favorite is Iris Noir.
    Liked on Facebook- brenton hardin

  44. fleurdelys says:

Although it’s not iris-dominant, I love L’Heure Bleue. I’m not familiar with other iris scents. Many thanks for the generous drawing, I live in the US.

  45. I have never tried an Iris perfume. Maybe this will be my chance 🙂

  46. I like the Absolue version of Prada’s Infusion d’Iris, and second the votes for Carner D600 and Guerlain Apres l’Ondee! Iris Silver Mist is one that I love in theory, but somehow don’t wear all that often…

  47. poodletwins says:

Iris is my favorite flower, visually. How perfect that I decided to explore the iris and lily of the valley notes for spring. So far I have enjoyed Hiris by Hermes and Prada d’Infusion Iris edt. Thanks for the draw and I live in the U.S.

  48. susan says:

Liked you on facebook too, very long overdue! Favorite iris perfume, possibly Grossmith Shem-El-Nessim. I find it very irisy. 🙂

  49. Marcela Hanford says:

My favorite at the moment is Iris Poudre from Frederic Malle’s Edition de Parfums, but there is a special place in my heart for n°19.

  50. rachel says:

I don’t have a favorite but want to find one!

  51. I really love Serge Luten’s Iris Silver Mist, and my sister wears Acqua de Parma Iris Nobile, which is entirely different but also really lovely. We’re clearly an iris loving family:) I follow on FB too.

  52. amyorvin says:

I don’t know. I have never tried any.

  53. Eve says:

I like chance by chanel! It smells so good!

  54. Eve says:

    I am a Facebook follower, Evelyn D

  55. Joey says:

A favorite iris perfume?! TOO HARD. If forced, I’ll choose PdE Equistrius, though. =)

  56. thecrankylobster says:

    Guten abend!
My favorite iris-y fragrance so far is L’Artisan’s Dzongkha. But I’ve gotten a sniff of the Prada EdP, and it’s soooo beautiful. Thanks very much for this offer. (I live in the continental US.)

  57. Bhama says:

My favorite Iris perfume is FM Iris poudre. I really want to try Prada infusion d’iris as I have heard its a good mainstream one. Thanks for the wonderful draw B!

  58. mridula says:

I wonder if Chanel No 19 would qualify as a Iris perfume. i think so although there ar emany other notes. I love this perfume. And thank you for this draw and the chance to enter. I like the fb page for a second entry.

  59. Patrick Scott says:

    Hiris by Hermes.

  60. Larilyn says:

    I love Infusion d’Iris it’s a very nice fragrance
