Maison Mona di Orio – A Video About The Past, Present And Future Of the House

Mona di Orio’s business partner Jeroen Oude Songtoen talks about Mona as a person, her death, the brand and the future of the line. Maison Mona di Orio seems to be in very good hands…

I look forward to the new rose fragrance that will be presented at Fragranze Pitti and it is wonderful to hear that the Signature line will eventually be reintroduced.

Here are my Mona di Orio reviews, if you want to refresh your memory about those outstanding creations by a fascinating and hugely talented woman, who died so tragically early.

The house does indeed seem to be in very good hands. Many thanks for posting this video.

Sounds like we have a dark rose to look forward to and that’s my favourite kind.

I can not wait for this one to become available, a dark rose is my kind of rose. 😉

What a beautiful man — it’s wonderful to learn that Mona had such an intelligent, compassionate and dedicated partner when she created her company and that he will continue to produce her perfumes. I’m thrilled about the new rose fragrance and even more thrilled to hear that at some point he is contemplating bringing back her first line of complex and “naughty” perfumes. Thanks for sharing this, Birgit.

Thanks for sharing this one Birgit 🙂 I adore most of the Nombres d’Or fragrances I’ve tried so far (Vanille was my gateway!) and I’ve just ordered a sample of the Oud so I can spend some proper time with it. I love Mona’s take on scents; so inventive, creative, passionate, full of big ideas and expansive facets but handled with such a delicate precision.. and yes, the naughty streak is important! Jeroen seems lush and it’s good to know the company is in safe hands. I cannot wait for the Rose! Do we know when it’s coming out? Also very excited at the prospect of the reissuing of old fragrances, which I never tried but would love to. Yey! Hope you’re well xo

      You are welcome, Olivia!
I’ll be curious to hear what you think of Oud.
Aside from maybe Cuir, there is not one perfume in the Nombres d’Or line I don’t love. I have high hopes for the upcoming rose perfume.
