In December I had the good fortune to meet Vanessa of Bonkers About Perfume again.

Take a peek at her hilarious post about our meeting.

Have a lovely Saturday!

Looks like you finally gained some weight over the holidays! Too much vanillekipferl? 🙂

What fun, and I’m a little jealous, too. I haven’t met even one perfumista in my area, I’m afraid people here think my hobby is quite eccentric…. And so many Americans here claim to have “allergies” to anything scented, even real flowers, it’s quite discouraging….Even the churches are scentless here, Birgit!! Not even a speck of frankincense.

That is sad! Americans tend to take things very far. Such a contradiction to “the land of the free”. I’m sorry there is no perfumista in your area. Maybe you should ask (in a post on PST) though. There could be closet fumeheads in your part of Florida you have no idea about…

That’s a great story and may I join the chorus singing, “You look fabulous!!”

Ha, ha lovely written. And yes you look good and that is said from a woman.

  5. Ari says:

You and your family are absolutely gorgeous! I hope that someday I too will have the privilege of meeting both you and Vanessa!

  6. Tatiana says:

Your boys are beyond adorable! How lucky you are! And you are gorgeous! I enjoyed Vanessa’s tale of your meeting. It sounds like it was a good time.

    Hi Olfactoria,

Thanks for featuring our get together on OT! I know you had reservations about being portrayed as “unduly bonny” in the family photo, though I – and your readers – have done our level best to overturn them… ; – ) I must say your title: “Olfactoria Goes Bonkers” is the perfect partner to my previous heading of “Travels TO Olfactoria”, which I used for the account of our Vienna meet-up.

And they are indeed an adorable family, with a fine collection of padded coats…!
